Reservation deposit
The $2,500 deposit reserves capacity for the PFAS Evidence Readiness Engagement and is credited to the $7,500 fixed fee.
Customer cancellation before review begins
You may request cancellation through the contact page within two business days after payment. If Liberty Tree has not begun intake or scope review, the deposit will be refunded, less any payment-processing fee that the payment provider does not return. Refund requests must include the engagement reference and the checkout email address.
After intake or scope review begins
Once Liberty Tree begins intake review, scope analysis, document review, scheduling, or other engagement work, the deposit is non-refundable because it compensates for reserved capacity and work performed. Liberty Tree will identify that work has begun through engagement communication or status.
Scope not accepted
If the submitted request falls outside the base offer, Liberty Tree may propose a written change order. You may decline it. If no in-scope engagement can reasonably proceed and Liberty Tree declines the engagement before substantive work begins, Liberty Tree will refund the deposit. If you decline an optional expansion but the base engagement can proceed, the original engagement remains in effect.
Remaining balance and cancellation during production
The $5,000 balance is due after written scope confirmation and before production begins. Amounts paid are non-refundable after production begins, except to the extent Liberty Tree cancels without cause or agrees otherwise in writing. If client delay exceeds 30 days, Liberty Tree may close the engagement; reopening is subject to availability and may require a change order.
Liberty Tree cancellation
If Liberty Tree cancels without client breach, it will refund fees for services not performed. No refund is required for work completed, non-refundable third-party costs authorized by the client, or cancellation caused by nonpayment, unlawful content, material misrepresentation, security risk, or material breach.
Refund timing and payment disputes
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Bank and card-network posting times vary. Before initiating a chargeback, contact Liberty Tree through the contact page so the engagement record and requested resolution can be reviewed promptly.
